Welcome to the Ardrossan SA web site, an initiative of the Ardrossan Progress Association. Whether you are a resident, a visitor or someone considering living in this great community, we hope that we can provide you with information and encourage you to take part in a wide range of activities.
Situated on top of imposing red cliffs an easy 90 minute drive from Adelaide, Ardrossan is a thriving seaport and center for agriculture. Spectacular scenery from a cliff top lookout, an abundance of blue swimmer crabs, great fishing, shipwrecks and an interesting history make this a great spot to while away relaxing days.
Our Aims Are:
- to provide details of the services and attractions of the town, for both resident and visitor
- to promote and encourage businesses, new and old
- to encourage visitors to our town and to share the many benefits.
Finding Us:
Ardrossan is a thriving town on the east coast of the Yorke Peninsula, about 150 km from Adelaide, South Australia. Population is approximately 1100 people and in recent years a considerable number of subdivisions have taken place.With a wide range of age groups, employment, community and sporting group, it is little wonder that the town is a holiday destination for many and special place in which to live for others.
